says it will air this coming Monday (Sept. 27) at 7 p.m. Here's what they had to

McIntyre is yes! But coping with the pressures of fame hasn't been easy for this
performer. VH1's Rachel Perry hangs out with the pop icon as he reveals his
personal struggles and heartaches after the break-up of the super group. Plus
he'll talk about the long journey back to find happiness and success once again.
VH1 is all over Joey McIntyre's New York: backstage at his Broadway debut,
checking out his favorite Spa, touring his new Nightclub and sitting down for
lunch to get the inside story of what it's really like being Joey. JOEY TODAY
Joey McIntyre is everywhere: starring on Broadway, acting in films and releasing
a new CD: 809. Everywhere he goes, the 31 year old is mobbed by fans eager to
get close to the former boy band phenom. The success is all the sweeter because
Joey has struggled to find his way in the entertainment world after a meteoric
rise to fame and equally sudden fall from superstardom. GROWING UP Joseph
McIntyre was born the youngest of 9 children on New Years Eve in Boston. Even at
age 6, Joey was a gifted performer: singing in public and starring in Community
Theater productions. At the age of 12 he was asked to meet Maurice Starr, the
man behind New Edition. That audition would change Joey's life forever as he was
asked to join New Kids on the Block in 1984. Joey will talk about that magical
moment which tested him form the very beginning. At the start the other band
members bullied their youngest member and they had a hard time accepting the
latest and youngest addition to the band, but Joey decided to stay on. How did
he find the strength to hang in there? The answer will surprise you. THE NEW
KIDS ON THE BLOCK Suddenly Joey was making millions, traveling the world with
screaming fans chasing him everywhere he went. He was soon on top of the Forbes
highest earning performers list and could now support his family. Joey will tell
us what it was like to be in the eye of a media feeding frenzy and a musical
phenomenon that took the world by storm. Plus he'll talk about the temptations
of life on the road. He had almost 10 years of fame and fortune until one day it
suddenly stopped. In 1994 the band broke up because the "boys" were
all moving in different directions. For Joey, it was a devastating blow. THE
TOUGH TIMES Joey turned his back on music and decided to return to one of his
passions: acting. He went to New York in an effort at make it on Broadway. But
as he was pounding the pavement doing the audition circuit, he was faced with a
harsh reality -- he was a former teen star and his famous past meant nothing. He
started going out every night drinking. He was lost. In 1998 after a period of
six months of continuous partying, he felt that he needed to get his act
together and return to music. Nobody would take a meeting with him, he didn't
know what to do "I couldn't get arrested" Joey says. But he didn't
give up. He self-financed an album which he sold through his website. The album
sold just 2000 copies. SECOND CHANCE However, in 1999 one of the tracks from
that self-produced album Stay the Same, got air play on KISS-FM in his hometown
and became the most requested song in Boston. This made his former record label
Columbia interested. Backstreet Boys and N'Sync were climbing the charts and
here was his second chance, suddenly the market was ripe for boy bands and all
that was associated with them. Columbia re-released his solo album and it went
Gold. JOEY ON BROADWAY Joey was hot again... all over magazines, TV and radio.
His rebirth caught the eye of mega producer David E. Kelly and landed Joey a
starring role on "Boston Public". Finally his life long passion for
acting was paying off. Now he's starring on Broadway in the sold out
performances of Wicked. Joey will talk about life on stage and we're there for
the opening night. JOEY IN LOVE With his professional luck turning his personal
life also changed. On a trip out to Los Angeles on the lookout for a condo he
fell in love with the realtor. To commemorate that special moment, he named his
latest album 809 and got married on August 9, 2003 (8/09!). Joey will tell VH1
why he feels that he has met his match in his wife and why he is so excited to
face the future with her. THE FUTURE Joey McIntyre has reinvented himself and
climbed out of the black hole that the New Kids on the Block left him in. Now
he's all over the place: starring in a sold out performance of Wicked on
Broadway, opening up a new nightclub and putting out new music. He's 5th album
is out and he feels that it is his best work to date. His lyrics are all his own
and very personal. And after years of searching Joey McIntyre is finally happy
where he is.

I work for Rykodisc International and we are the international
distributors for Artemis Records.
As you'll all be aware Artemis recently released the new Joey
McIntyre album 8:09 but so far the album hasn't been made available
outside of the US.
Well that's all set to change! I am pleased to announce that on
September 6th we will be releasing an international version of 8:09
with bonus material included!! The CD will be enhanced with a Joey
McIntyre EPK and 2 tracks taken from the live album 'One Too Many'.
The first single from the album will be 'Dance Like That' and we will
be taking this track to radio in August.

Thursday All!!
I have some information that I wanted to pass on to
all of you (it is confirmed information from Jerry).
First I've seen a few people talking about what they
think the next single should be...well it is going to
be "This Is Different". :) There is no release date as
of yet. Be sure to check Joe's site for more
information about that or if I find out I will be
passing it on to everyone.
Regarding the Ryan Seacrest show...they are taping a
remote segment today, so he will not actually be at
the studio. Joe will be doing Ryan's morning radio
show (102.7 KIIS FM) soon, not sure of the date yet.
After the KTLA appeareance on Friday April 30th (in
Los Angeles), Joe will be on Valentines radio show
(102.7 KIIS FM). Valentine is on in the afternoon. The
time when he will be there is unknown at this time. If
I remember correctly I believe you can listen to KIIS
online.
Regarding the Los Angeles show... I will be putting up
a banner on my website (courtesy of the promoters at
the Knitting Factory) with a direct link to the clubs
site where you can purchase your ticket(s) for the
show. We want to see alot of your happy smiling faces
at this show, so be sure to get your tix! My website

L.A. Blue
It's obvious that Joey McIntyre poured his heart into the first single
from his upcoming album, "8:09." The former Boston-based New Kid penned
the poignant lyrics to "L.A. Blue" soon after leaving his hometown.
Revealing a mature sound that's closer to adult contemporary than
mainstream pop, it seems as though McIntyre is finally making strides in
distancing himself from an image he has been trying to shake for years.
But it's unlikely—and unfortunate—that anyone other than die-hard fans
will get the chance to be acquainted with his more melodic side. These
days, such a deeply personal song will likely get lost in the shuffle.—KK

Two Fox television talents, Joey McIntyre and Mila Kunis, have said "I
do" to starring in a big-screen adaptation of "Tony 'n' Tina's
Wedding" for writer-director Roger Paradiso.
Currently in production in New York, "Wedding" is based on the
long-running interactive stage show that follows the nuptials of two
working-class Italian New Yorkers and their wacky, diverse families.
Daisy Eagan also stars in the supporting role of Donna Marsala.
"Wedding," originally created by Chris Fracchiolla and Nancy Cassaro,
began its run in 1988 and has played around the world as a cult classic for 15
years.
The project is being produced by Paradiso (producer of "The Thomas Crown
Affair"), Michael Tadross (producer of "Basic") and former Lot 47
Films executive Mark Lipsky. McIntyre recently starred on the Fox series
"Boston Public." Kunis recently signed on for two more years of Fox's
"That '70s Show."
In other matrimonial movie-related news, MDP Worldwide has acquired feature
rights to "Wedding Daze," a comedy pitch from writers Lamar Damon and
Collette Burston, for an undisclosed sum.
The project centers on an obsessive-compulsive bride-to-be who continues
maniacally to perfect her wedding plans to the point of almost losing her groom.
Damon, the writer behind "Slap Her, She's French," recently finished
up "Confessions of a Back Up Dancer" for Beacon Pictures and the Walt
Disney Co. His other credits include the "Endless Love" remake
"Age of Consent" at Universal Pictures. Burston directed and co-wrote
the feature "Coming Soon."
MDP is putting the finishing touches on the Charlize Theron starrer
"Monster," which is soon to be screened for domestic distributors.

The WB (Warner brothers network - syndicated program channel) has this new
show "Make My Day" - Joe's segment is the pilot episode for the show. It's about how a celebrity takes an unknown "pick" and takes him/her all through town with secret cameras, I think ending up at the person's "wish" as to "make her/his day" - but I haven't seen the show, and although I know what Joe's deal was on his filming day (long day for him) but won't spoil the surprise. The show has been picked up for at least 5 episodes, although I think it has a 13 episode run, but Joe's all day "taping" will be edited into 30 minutes, so not sure what will be aired and what will remain on the cutting room floor. ** Joe's record is not due out until late 2003, early 2004 - but being Joe is on amovie set now, alot is delayed in getting this album completed, so no idea when the "official" release date is. The music is good - very pop/dance - and one song (which is my favorite) has a reminisce of a New Kid's tune, but much more mature and with Eman's 'ethnic music' base in the background. Depending on what radio thinks is a "hit" is what the first single is, however the industry changes on the face of a dime, so who knows what will "fit" into radio come 2004. Mollie =) |

Yes, YBE.com will be missed - it even had more updated news than the office
JM site. =) Speaking of Joe's new album (as Christina eluded too in her emails) I have heard the new completed cd (it's not mastered yet - but it's all done as far as recording and mixing) and you will LOVE the new version of Endlessly, as well as beautiful recordsing of LA Blue (sung live at the Key club last year), and Someday (sung on Wayne Brady) -- and there's a surprise track for all of you who have Eman's solo cd as well. (sorry can't spill the beans on that one) Some of the songs are more "dancey" and some are beautiful ballads - those are the ones I like the best -- but there is a track that's just makes you say " only Joe would sing this" and it's his "If I Run Into You" for this new record. Hope this ends some suspicion of what the new cd will contain, but keep posted to Joe's website - as there will be surprises there too - but not for a few months |

something to say as well), but NO idea if his interviews will be on or what

Telethon for Children's
WBZ-TV (Channel 4) and WSBK-TV (Channel 38) said they plan to broadcast a
telethon June 1 to benefit Children's Hospital Boston and the National Birth
Defects Center in Waltham. The "Celebration for Kids" telethon will begin on
Channel 4 at noon with anchors Lisa Hughes and Joe Shortsleeve as hosts. At 1
p.m. the fund-raiser will move to Channel 38, where Marie Osmond and Jon
Schneider will host a national CBS broadcast of entertainment originating in
Orlando, Fla., until 6 p.m. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., a local broadcast will
resume on Channel 38. Joey McIntyre will appear to perform material from the
play "Tick, Tick . . . Boom!"
They are running a special on "tick, tick...BOOM!" tickets according to the
Boston Globe.

Seats in the first two rows for every performance of "tick, tick ... BOOM!,"
starring Joey McIntyre, will be on sale for $20. An autobiographical musical by
the late Jonathan Larson, creator of "Rent," about a confused young composer on
the cusp of 30, "tick, tick ... BOOM!" opens next week for a two-week engagement
at the Wilbur Theatre. The $20 seats will be on sale each day, for that day's
performance only, at the Wilbur box office. There is a two-ticket limit per
customer, and the seats must be paid for in cash. "Tick, tick... BOOM!" previews
Tuesday and opens Wednesday at the Wilbur, where it runs through June 8. For

Eventually, all teenthrobs grow up. And former New Kid On The Block
crooner Joe McIntyre is no exception. So brace yourselves, NKOTB fans,
because Joe is getting married!
The ``Boston Public'' star and galpal Barrett Williams are tying the
knot Aug. 9 at The Plaza in New York City.
``I couldn't be happier,'' Joe told the Track. ``And I've never been
more sure of anything in my life.''
Joe met Barrett, who is originally from New York, when he was looking
for a house to rent on the Left Coast while filming the Fox series.
Barrett, who's in the real estate biz in La-La, found Joey Mac a place -
then took him off the market!
The two recently bought a house together in Tinseltown, where Joe's
Hangin' Tough now that his acting career's in high gear.
In addition to ``Public',' he's also starting a flick with Jamie-Lynn
Sigler of ``The Sopranos'' fame. And on May 27, Joe starts his Boston
run of ``tick, tick . . . BOOM!'' at the Wilbur Theatre.
